O uso da modelagem matemática como recurso pedagógico no estudo de área de figuras espaciais

Abstract

This article discusses the results of a research that aims to analyze the use of mathematical modeling in the teaching-learning process in the area of spatial geometric figures. The methodological course was centered on the nature of qualitative research; having as observation data collection technique, open questionnaire and workshop. The subjects of the research were 18 students of the second year of high school of a State School in the municipality of Parintins - Amazonas. The results obtained allow us to know that the students present difficulties regarding the conceptual understanding of spatial geometrical figures, examples of them and the resolution of calculations of areas due to the lack of contextualization and use of pedagogical resources; The mathematical modeling of mathematical modeling allows the visualization of the terms of the equations according to the available material, allowing the students to have a new view of the spatial geometrical figures. It is argued that the study of this content needs to be worked from the student's daily life to provide meaning to the learning and application of methodologies that awaken the interest and spirit of research of this, in the search of the construction of their own knowledge.
