Dança, escola e sexualidade: uma perspectiva de jovens do ensino médio em busca do (re) conhecimento e autoafirmação

Abstract

This work is the result of research carried out within an educational institution of the public network of the East zone of Manaus and aimed to investigate from dance classes in the arts discipline, as the high school students understand the process of (re) knowledge and the statement your sexuality, considering the historical cultural context. The phenomenology was our anchor where methodological through qualitative research, descriptive and, we achieved our goals. The study subjects were students of arts education in the first year of high school. Thus, our results show that the formal teaching of dance in school influences on (re) knowledge of sexuality, however, it was possible to detect that when there is talk of self-affirmation of sexuality this research points to the sense that no, because, according to the subjects young people of 18 to 20 years of the study, these participants stated categorically that this autonomy of sexuality came before the entry of the same teaching degree. We believe that our young people are growing up more early, need for more studies that may contribute to the issues of gender and sexuality in school.
