Apropriação do comercio informal na calçada: um estudo em torno da rua Augusto Gianola no bairro Paulo Corrêa

Abstract

The present research seeks to understand the occupation of informal commerce that is growing every day around Rua Augusto Gianolla located in the Paulo Corrêa neighborhood. The study reveals that the lack of employment, a job that does not have in the city, are one of the factors that cause these workers to opt for this informal activity, blocking the circulation of pedestrians who need to travel in these locomotion routes. Obstructions that are carried out by the local actors, they modify the sidewalk in a promoter where they generate economy without caring about the consequences that the people and the natural and social environment will suffer, with this arises to the need to make this article. The objective is to study the causes that lead informal workers to extrajurídica occupy the public space that is exclusive to the pedestrian were also assessed their needs and social conflict taking as a starting point the laws that govern that country. Therefore, for the accomplishment of the study was made use of the space of dialogue and interviews where it is based on the dialectical method. The theoretical course will help to develop a differentiated view on the occupation of public space by informal commerce in this locality, encompassing perceptions about the position of the municipality, through public policies regarding this socio-spatial configuration. The photographic records were collected in the months of June to November, as well as the narratives of merchants and pedestrians to get a better understanding of this illegal occupation in the public space in this city.
