Paisagem e urbanização: o ontem e o hoje das transformações da paisagem no bairro de Palmares no município de Parintins

Abstract

The present study was the attempt to identify the characteristics of the urban space of Parintins from a fragment that composes it, the São José Operário neighborhood. The purpose of elaborating theoretical reflections on the production of the urban space of Parintins having the area of ​​study as base. The neighborhood in question is one of the most traditional neighborhoods in the city, and the study of the theme is justified, since it is an attempt to dialogue between (re) production of space and (re) production of life, emphasizing structures and forms that constitutes the space. The main objective was to identify and characterize the production of urban space, expressed by the fragmentation that occurs in the neighborhood of S. José Operário, by the processes of articulation that are present in the Neighborhood, by the reflections through the socioeconomic data of the residents provided from the Census of IBGE (2010) and the visualization of the conditioners through the fields of struggle through social movements. The work was based on the dialectic in order to understand the contradictions that urban space presents. Observation was made in locus to see, as the processes occur in the area bounded for study, then the characterization of the dwellings, institutions and area of ​​services was made. Thus, the research evidenced the actions of the agents who participate in the production of this space. These actions, excluded groups, real estate, land and state. As a main reflection, we point out that the urban space of the São José Operário neighborhood is always in motion, being constantly produced and reproduced and, mainly, that in this fragment it is possible to identify, even to a lesser extent, the dynamics of the reproduction of the urban of Parintins.
