Abstract

The present work presents the research result in which the use of Documentary videos in the teaching of Geography. The objective of the investigation was to analyze the Contribution of these documentaries as a didactic support for the Teaching of Geography At the São José Operário State School, in the city of Parintins / AM. Supporting the contributions Theorists of Campos (2009), Cury (2008), Passini (2007), among others, the observation of Descriptive qualitative character, was carried out through approaches to the teaching of Geography Through videos and documentaries. Then, questionnaires and interviews were applied To better understand the phenomenon under investigation. The results indicated the And students' conceptions about the importance of cognition and the use of these Resources to alleviate any difficulties encountered by Inserts the technological devices in the Geography class, consequently, improving the Process of teaching this important discipline in the construction of knowledge School. In view of this, the use of documentary videos is suggested due to the new way of Lectures and the interaction with the technological devices, the understanding from the Images, sounds and contents from the concrete, from the visible, making the classes dynamic and Content.
