| Zusammenfassung: | After tracing a brief history of the Viola da braccio, it was demonstrated that during the 17th century three viola models developed: France haute contre, Taille e Quinte, they played different parts and had peculiar tessitures. Over the years these two viola models, Taille and Quinte, which had a large size, were falling into disuse and losing space for smaller violas. |
| Beschreibung: | Depois de traçar uma breve história da Viola da braccio foi demostrado que, durante o século XVII desenvolverem-se, especialmente na França, três modelos de viola: haute- contre, Taille e Quinte, elas tocavam partes diferentes e tinham tessituras peculiares. Ao longo dos anos esses dois modelos de viola, Taille e Quinte, que tinham um tamanho grande, foram caindo em desuso e perdendo espaço para violas menores. |
