Abstract

The present research seeks to outline the profile of the young people of Higher Education of the History Course of the Center for Higher Studies of Parintins of the State University of Amazonas, analyzing to what extent the experiences and contents offered in the university influence the values and religious behavior of the students. The methodology used was a survey applied to the total universe of undergraduates in History, which allows us to compare the results with researches carried out with university students from other parts of the country, inferring possible clashes between religion and science, as well as how young people impute to the university experience the progressive departure of old religious beliefs and practices.
