A síndrome de Burnout em enfermeiros no Brasil: uma revisão integrativa

Abstract

To analyze how Burnout Syndrome affects nurses in Brazil. Method: This was an integrative literature review, with data collection in the PubMed and LILACS databases, in June 2018. Results: 21 scientific articles were selected for analysis and showed that the most used instrument for the detection of Syndrome of Burnout was the Maslach Burnout Inventory, the Professional Achievement dimension presented higher prevalence, professionals with more than one employment relationship are more susceptible, and the work environment is the most present trigger of this syndrome Conclusion: It was noticed that the professional of nursing is susceptible to Burnout Syndrome, considering the characteristics of the profession and work environment, that Burnout has serious physical and psychological consequences for those who are affected, as well as the lack of intervention studies in the area of ​​basic care and in the North and Central-West Brazil
