Turismo comunitário: um olhar sobre a região metropolitana de Manaus

Abstract

This book analyzes the experiences of community-based tourism in the metropolitan region of Manaus, considering intrinsic socio-spatial aspects. The study that gave rise to this work sought to characterize, based on the experiences of Brazil and Latin America, the experiences of community-based tourism in Amazonas, especially in the metropolitan region of Manaus. In addition, the author suggests mechanisms that collaborate for the implementation of public policies around community-based tourism as an alternative for the economic and social development of the amazon region.
