| Abstract: | Due to the environmental benefits and consequent improvement in the quality of life of the population, urban afforestation is an aspect of great importance in city planning. In this context, the present work aimed to quantify, identify and evaluate the quality of the trees in Bairro da Francesa in the municipality of Parintins-AM. The district of the French was chosen jointly with the Secretary of the Environment of the municipality, for being one of the oldest districts, which has historical, cultural and social value. The data was collected through a complete inventory through visits in the neighborhood, traveling all streets with the help of the physical map of the city. For the field collections, a form with information about each tree was elaborated. The identification of the species was carried out with the aid of specific literature. Seventeen species were identified, distributed in 12 families, where there was a predominance of Licania tomentosa (Benth.) Fritsch with 81 individuals inventoried (48.21%). It was observed that the native species predominate, with 62% in the French Quarter. The stem, in 65% of the cases, was of the branched type. The subterranean root system is predominant in 81% of the species, 19% have a superficial root system and exposed. The arrangement of the trees in relation to the electric network revealed that 67% are absent, while 21% are above the canopy. The pruning of the trees was well conducted in 14% of the cases, while the great majority is in the regular situation. A percentage of 36% of trees showed absence of pruning. The paving free area around the individuals was adequate in 45% of the cases. In general, pavement conditions did not present severe damages, only a small percentage of 17% showed damage, most of them caused by tree roots, where they still interfered in 5% in the transition of pedestrians. The average DBH found was 25,2 cm, and height, 9.2 m, which shows that the afforestation of the neighborhood is old with well established individuals. |
| Descrição: | Em função dos benefícios ambientais e consequente melhoria na qualidade de vida da população, a arborização urbana é um aspecto de grande importância no planejamento das cidades. Neste contexto, o presente trabalho objetivou quantificar, identificar e avaliar a qualidade das árvores no Bairro da Francesa no município de Parintins-AM. O bairro da Francesa foi escolhido em conjunto com a Secretária do Meio Ambiente do município, por ser um dos bairros mais antigos, que possui valor histórico, cultural e social. O levantamento dos dados foi feito por meio de um inventário com visitas no bairro previamente delimitado percorrendo-se todas as ruas com o auxílio do mapa físico da cidade. Para as coletas de campo, foi elaborado um formulário com informações referentes a cada árvore. A identificação da espécie foi realizada com o auxílio da literatura específica. Foram identificadas 17 espécies, distribuídas em 12 famílias, onde houve a predominância de Licania tomentosa (Benth.) Fritsch com 81 indivíduos inventariados (48,21%). Observou-se que as espécies nativas são as que predominam, com 62% no Bairro da Francesa. O fuste, em 65% dos casos apresentou-se do tipo ramificado. O sistema radicular do tipo subterrâneo tem predominância em 81% das espécies, 19% têm sistema radicular do tipo superficial e exposto. A disposição das árvores em relação à rede elétrica revelou que 67% estão ausentes, enquanto 21% estão acima das copas. A poda das árvores mostrou-se bem conduzida em 14% dos casos, enquanto que a grande maioria se enquadra na situação regular. Um percentual de 36% de árvores mostrou-se com ausência de poda. A área livre de pavimentação ao redor dos indivíduos mostrou-se adequada em 45% dos casos. No geral, as condições do calçamento não apresentaram danos severos, apenas um pequeno percentual de 17% mostrou-se com danos, na maioria das vezes causados pelas raízes das árvores, onde ainda interferiram em 5% na transição de pedestres. A média do DAP encontrada foi de 25,2 cm, e altura de 9,2 m. Isto evidencia que a arborização do bairro é antiga com indivíduos bem estabelecidos. |
