dc.descriptionEste trabalho tem como objeto de análise a trajetória institucional da Assembleia Legislativa Provincial do Amazonas (1852 – 1889), temos como objetivo apresentar determinadas possibilidades de pesquisa a partir da análise da Assembleia Provincial alinhado com o estudo do político. Para isso, empreendemos uma análise referente à instrução pública, à emancipação escrava e a questão da centralização política, aspectos tão discutidos pela Assembleia ao longo de 37 anos. Como este estudo procuramos apresentar ao leitor as várias ações da assembleia que agem na vida cotidiana dos habitantes da província e os demais aspectos condizentes com a própria ação política, possibilitam a formulação de debates, tais como a atuação política no periódicos e a questão da cidadania. Não pretendemos esgotar o debate, mas mostrar que a análise da Assembleia Legislativa à luz da história política é um excelente caminho para a compreensão da vida política do Amazonas imperial.pt_BR
dc.description.abstractThis paper analyzes the institutional trajectory of the Assembly Provincial Legislature of Amazonas (1852 - 1889), we aim to present certain possibilities of research from the analysis of the Provincial Assembly aligned with the study of the politician. For this, we carried out an analysis public education, slave emancipation and the question of political centralization, so discussed by the Assembly over 37 years. As this study present to the reader the various actions of the assembly that act in the daily life of inhabitants of the province and other aspects consistent with the political action itself, debate, such as political action in the issue of citizenship. We do not intend to exhaust the debate, but to show that the analysis of Legislative Assembly in the light of political history is an excellent understanding of the political life of the imperial Amazon.pt_BR
