Abstract

The present work aims to analyze the reality of History Teaching in T efé, giving emphasis on a school, since problems in education only increase and what has been done is little to change the reality that the city has been experiencing over time. Therefore, when to delimit the theme: "Traditional Teaching x Critical Teaching: Challenges and Methodological Problems of Teaching History at the Frei André da Costa State School ", the need to analyze the type of History Teaching present in the daily school life, as well as to check which challenges and methodological problems faced by teachers and students. Thus, the realization this research has become necessary precisely for the aspects raised above. Were used as study methods, bibliographic research and participant research, and techniques and interviews with students to understand their perspectives on teaching History taught at school. Therefore, in the course of this paper, analyzes and reflections on the subject in question, with the aim of contributing to a greater progress in the search for improvements that meet the needs of the students during the history of the respective school.
