Resumo: Este trabalho tem como objetivo compreender o processo migratório dos judeus para a Amazônia e as influências, mudanças e permanências introduzidas pela cultura judaica nas territorialidades das populações da cidade de Manaus/AM, Amazônia Ocidental. Os objetivos específicos são: analisar o contexto histórico e os motivos que resultaram no fluxo migratório dos judeus para a Amazônia; compreender a territorialidade e território da cultura judaica, representações espaciais do imaginário judeu e as suas influências nas territorialidades da população amazonense; identificar a importância da cultura judaica na Amazônia e transformações sociocultural, econômica e religiosa implementadas na cultura das populações da cidade de Manaus, estado do Amazonas. A área de estudo é correspondente à cidade de Manaus,estado do Amazonas, Amazônia Ocidental. O método empregado nesse trabalho é o dialético, pois as realidades e os fenômenos são compreendidos por meio de oposições e contradições. A metodologia possui uma abordagem qualitativa de caráter descritivo exploratório. Foram realizadas pesquisas bibliográficas que permitiram a compreensão da migração dos judeus para a Amazônia e suas influências e mudanças culturais. Na pesquisa documental, foram consultadosos materiais disponíveis na internet (on-line) e impressos que foram fundamentais para compreensão do contexto histórico e os motivos para a migração judaica na Amazônia. Na pesquisa de campo, foi possível fazer uma visita in loco, realizar entrevistas não estruturadas (perguntas abertas) e diálogos intersubjetivos com representantes de instituições e sujeitos da pesquisa para a obtenção de coletas de dados, na qual se registrou fatos históricos e a contextualização histórica da cultura judaica na Amazônia. Nesse sentido, os judeus migrarampara a Amazônia em busca de novas oportunidades e por estarem sendo alvos de perseguições religiosas e étnicas, processos esses que se concretizaram historicamente. Além do mais, os judeus também foram influenciados pela cultura local, acerca da culinária, como especiarias locais, as modificando pelas festas judaicas. Palavras chaves: Migração. Territorialidade. Abstract: This work aims to understand the migratory process of Jews to the Amazon and the influences, changes and permanence introduced by Jewish culture in the territorialities of the populations of the city of Manaus/AM, Western Amazon. And as specific objectives: To analyze the historical context and the reasons that resulted in the migratory flow of Jews to the Amazon; Understand the territoriality and territory of Jewish culture, spatial representations of the Jewish imagination and their influences on the territorialities of the Amazonian population; To identify the importance of Jewish culture in the Amazon and sociocultural, economic and religious transformations implemented in the culture of the populations in the city of Manaus, state of Amazonas. The study area corresponds to the city of Manaus, state of Amazonas, Western Amazon. The method employed in this work is the dialectic, as realities and phenomena are understood through oppositions and contradictions. The methodology has a qualitative approach with an exploratory descriptive character. Bibliographic research was carried out that allowed the understanding of the migration of Jews to the Amazon and its influences and cultural changes. In the documentary research, materials available on the internet (online) and in print were consulted, which were fundamental for understanding the historical context and the reasons for Jewish migration in the Amazon. In the field research, it was possible to make an in loco visit, carry out unstructured interviews (open questions) and intersubjective dialogues with institution representatives and research subjects to obtain data collection, where historical facts and the historical contextualization of the culture were recorded. Jewish in the Amazon. In this sense, Jews migrated to the Amazon in search of new opportunities and because they were the target of religious and ethnic persecution, processes that have historically materialized. Furthermore, the Jews were also influenced by the local culture, about the cuisine, like local spices, modifying them by the Jewish festivals. Keywords: Migration. territoriality. Jews. Culture.
