| Resumo: | O presente trabalho tem por intuito refletir acerca das diferentes perspectivas apresentadas no livro Caim, de José Saramago, no qual o autor constrói uma paródia do antigo testamento da bíblia cristã. Buscar-se-á ponderar sobre a representação de deus que Saramago apresenta na obra e que aspectos sobre esse divino ele aborda ao construir a sua paródia, visto que Saramago não está preocupado em criticar a religião, massalientar asincoerências da figura divina nos diversos episódios da narrativa pelos quais perpassa. Elegemos os episódios de Abel e Caim, Abraão e Isaac e Job para discutir no romance a representação de um deus personagem que aparenta características e atitudes tão humanas que diferem da imagem idealizada pela humanidade. |
| Abstract: | This paper aims to reflect on the different perspectives presented in the book presented in the book Cain, by José Saramago, in which the author builds a parody of the old testament of the Christian bible.
