| Resumo: | Os conhecimentos envoltos de uma cultura complexa e heterogênea como a da Amazônica requer que a fonte da pesquisa seja rica em informações e que a teoria selecionada para tal empreitada possa cumprir com o seu papel. No caminho desse pensamento esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar como se configuram as representações da Amazônia nas obras do artista, amazonense, Moacir Andrade. Dividese esta pesquisa em capítulos que desenvolvem os caminhos necessários para o alcance do objetivo principal. Inicia-se por realizar o estabelecimento das bases da pesquisa com os estudos envoltos da cultura e identidade com CUCHE (1999); VILLAS-BOAS (2009); BURKE (2010); THOMPSON (2000); HALL (2006); WOODWARD (2000); NORBERT ELIAS (1990) e BAUMAN (2012). Estudos da Amazônia com CUNHA (2003); MORAES (2001); BRITO (2001), TOCANTINS (2000) e SOUZA (1977). No âmbito dos estudos das artes visuais utiliza-se FARTHING (2011); PÁSCOA (2011); WUCHERER (1974); OSTROWER (2013) e GOMBRICH (1995). O capítulo seguinte compreende a fundamentação teórica principal que auxiliará nas análises aqui desenvolvidas tendo como teoria base as categorias da Gramática do Design Visual- GDV de Gunther Kress e Theo van Leeuwen (2006), também se utiliza das reflexões acerca da Linguística Sistêmico-Funcional de M. HALLIDAY (1994) e FUZER; CABRAL (2014). Os estudos da Multimodalidade também se fazem presente com os escritos de JEWITT (2009); VIEIRA (2007; 2015; 2017) e KRESS; van LEEUWEN (2001). Verifica-se que Moacir Andrade se utiliza como artificio para a representação da Amazônia, em suas obras, de pelo menos um dos elementos da tríade da Amazônia: homem-floresta-rio. Estes integram-se para formar a identidade e a cultura do ambiente amazônico. O homem se ver representado e sua cultura é valorizada e propagada para os quatro cantos do mundo. A Amazônia foi respeitada, cuidada e emoldurada. As análises por meio da GDV em parceria com as contribuições das teorias culturais estabeleceram uma verdadeira conexão, em virtude do caráter social da teoria linguística e das relações estabelecidas pela cultura. Ambas se realizam nas interações sociais. As artes visuais aqui analisadas figuram-se como exemplos dessa ligação entre ambas as vertentes teóricas (GDV e Estudos Culturais). |
| Abstract: | The knowledge involved in a complex and heterogeneous culture like that of the Amazon requires that the source of the research be rich in information and that the the theory chosen to face such an undertaking may fulfill its objective. n the path of this thought, this research aims to analyze how the representations of the Amazon are configured in the works of the artist, from Amazonas, Moacir Andrade. This research is divided into chapters that develop the necessary paths to reach the main objective. It begins by carrying out the establishment of the research bases with the studies involved in culture and identity with CUCHE (1999); VILLAS-BOAS (2009); BURKE (2010); THOMPSON (2000); HALL (2006); WOODWARD (2000); NORBERT ELIAS (1990) and BAUMAN (2012). Studies of the Amazon with CUNHA (2003); MORAES (2001); BRITO (2001), TOCANTINS (2000) and SOUZA (1977). In the field of visual arts studies, FARTHING (2011) is used; PÁSCOA (2011); WUCHERER (1974); OSTROWER (2013) and GOMBRICH (1995). The following chapter comprises the main theoretical foundation that will assist in the analyzes developed here having as a base theory the categories of Visual Design Grammar- VDG by Gunther Kress and Theo van Leeuwen (2006), it also uses the reflections about the Systemic-Functional Linguistics of M. HALLIDAY (1994) and FUZER; CABRAL (2014). Multimodality studies are also present with the writings of JEWITT (2009); VIEIRA (2007; 2015; 2017) and KRESS; van LEEUWEN (2001). It appears that Moacir Andrade is used as an artifice for the representation of the Amazon, in his works, of at least one of the elements of the Amazon triad: man-forest-river. These come together to form the identity and culture of the Amazonian environment. Man is represented and his culture is valued and propagated to the four corners of the world. The Amazon was respected, cared for and framed. Analyzes through GDV in partnership with the contributions of cultural theories established a true connection, due to the social character of linguistic theory and the relationships established by culture. Both take place in social interactions. The visual arts analyzed here are examples of this connection between both theoretical strands (GDV and Cultural Studies). |
