Resumo:	Esta obra surgiu da reunião de simpósios, cursos e palestras realizados durante o II GELLNORTE. Por um lado, temos autores de diversas partes da Amazônia brasileira e pertencentes, em sua grande maioria, aos Programas de Pós-graduação da região Norte. Por outro lado, o livro abre o olhar para questões nacionais, não só pela participação de pesquisadores de outras regiões, mas também pela diversidade de temas.
Abstract:	This book emerged from the meeting of symposia, courses and lectures held during the II GELLNORTE. On the one hand, we have authors from different parts of the Brazilian Amazon and who belong, for the most part, to Graduate Programs in the North region. On the other hand, the book opens the eyes to national issues, not only because of the participation of researchers from other regions, but also because of the diversity of themes. This book emerged from the meeting of symposia, courses and lectures held during the II GELLNORTE.
