Abstract: We realize how important it is to work to include people with special needs so that they can have autonomy and responsibilities in the face of educational and social challenges. From this understanding, it is necessary to provide the deaf student with a quality education considering the specificities arising from their need, thus the theme behind as delimitation; The teaching of biology in high school and the difficulties of deaf students in this teaching process in a regular school in Parintins, this theme aimed to: Verify the difficulties that do not allow the interaction and understanding of biology teaching-learning by students. deaf in a regular school in the municipality of Parintins. Regarding the methodological pathways, the research has a qualitative character as a contribution of narrative research, through information carried out at the research locus where we sought to identify the difficulties encountered by biology teachers as well as deaf students within high school. Entering still as concerns was intended to identify the difficulties faced also by the professional interpreters responsible for the exchange of knowledge to the deaf student, as regards teaching materials, pedagogical support and training, to provide a quality education is also of great importance. importance, because without it there would be no education of the deaf. According to the foregoing, the process for selecting subjects obeyed the requirements of ease of contact with them and acceptance to participate in this research. The results demonstrate barriers that exist in the deaf student himself, for not having the ability of logical reasoning in contextualizing the content of biology, not to mention the lack of specialized teaching materials and translated in LIBRAS that serves as a teaching / learning tool for both students, as for the interpreter who accompanies him in the classroom. Note that the search interpreter is always up to date with the subjects taught and with LIBRAS, through primers in INES or by the MANUARY application platform. Both are key pieces that contribute to the quality of deaf education.
