Da academia à sala de aula: trajetória de egressos licenciados em dança da ESAT (2016-2017)

Abstract

This work analyzes the expectation of the graduated professional of dance license of the School of Arts and Tourism, in the last two years before the field of performance. The documentary and theoretical framework brought for discussion readings of the Pedagogical Project of the Course, version 2013 and Institutional Development Plan versions 2007-2011 and 2017-2021. It addressed topics about the training and expectations of graduates in the scope of the degrees, as well as the harmony between the work and the labor market and the teaching-learning process through dance education. The methodology is of a basic, exploratory-descriptive nature, with a documental background and as regards the qualitative objective of the dynamic relationship between the subjects and the field. The choice of the subjects that fit into the pre-established period became a disturbance due to the absence of professionals who responded to the desired profile. However, after several attempts in the public school, we opted for two teachers who work in institutions with antagonistic pedagogical profiles, but contracted for the same function, that is, to be a dance teacher in the field of education. We consider that the expectations of the graduates present different positions that were raised during the formation, says one of the interviewees. For the other student, it was necessary to adapt to the pedagogical model of the contracting institution. However, through the research carried out, it was clear that the expectations of the graduates in the field of activity, transited between the desire for professional stability, desired training together with the contracting institutions and finally contribute to the idealization of a full school that respects diversity.
