Biblioteca Municipal Tonzinho Saunier - formação de alunos leitores de duas escolas públicas de Parintins - AM

Abstract

This study analyze the thematic about the Municipal Library "Tonzinho Saunier" and the training of student readers from two public schools of Parintins. The general objective of this research is to analyze how this Library contributes to the formation of student readers of these two public schools. The specific objectives are: check how the library "Tonzinho Saunier" contributes to the formation of student readers; identify the student numbers which are served on this library and in which schools these students are; and collect information about library rules, office hours, works and developed projects. The literature revision includes authors likes Paulo Freire (2009), Emir Suaiden (1980), Wagner Teixeira (2017); and others, which study the reading process, the library and reading training. The methodology used involves the qualitative method, the dialectical method and techniques with application of questionnaires and interviews. The results obtained point to the participation of the students of the schools researched in the research works, projects of reading formation and projects of playfulness offered by this library.
