Os estudos de Kopprasch para trompa e a importância deles na formação do trompista

Abstract

This work aims to present some studies of the composer George Kopprasch on techniques of playing the horn and the importance of these techniques in the formation of the trompista. The musical execution of this instrument requires a previous preparation on the part of the trompista. Thus, this work intends to lead the student to know some studies, techniques and procedures necessary to master the instrument. The choice of studies is of utmost importance for the practice of music in the most varied musical styles and forms. The relevance of this theme is precisely in pointing out some procedures that allowed to achieve a better learning of this instrument, thus facilitating the mastery of the technique. Thus, in order to investigate about the Kopprasch method we are directed to the processes of appropriation and transmission of music by the trompista, be it student or professional. The problem of this work is to identify which are the necessary competences to reach in a timely manner a good performance that the instrument demands? The study revealed that playing this instrument requires a lot of effort on the part of the student, causing a problem for teachers, since as students spend hours training to reach the desired level, others achieve in less time. Thus, the teacher needs to know at what level the student is to plan the learning activities of the same. That is, knowing very well each student so that the expectations of the teacher and the student are not frustrated. Such care can not be forgotten, especially since each learner has his own learning pace.
