A prática de solfejo dos músicos da Banda Sinfônica Municipal de Manaus que tocam clarinete

Abstract

In this research will be presented a work that has as its theme the solfege. Its general objective is to analyze the practice of solfejo of the musicians of the Municipal Symphonic Band of Manaus that play clarinet, and if this practice is judged as relevant for the instrumental practice of these. The specific objectives are to describe the musical training characteristics of the band's musicians; to identify if and how the practice of solfege occurs between the clarinetist musicians that integrate the Band and to discuss the relevance of the solfege in the practice of the instrument. The reason that leads us to study this subject is to encourage reflections on the practice of solfejo and its relevance to the instrumental practice, considering that it is still little dominated by the musicians these days. The methodologies used to carry out the research were the literature review and the survey. The questionnaire was answered by 10 clarinetists members of the Municipal Symphonic Band of Manaus. As a result, it was identified that all band clarinetists who participated in this research have already had contact with the solfeggio study and believe in their relevance to instrumental practice.
